Ocean Lotus Hawaii
I just got back from an amazing trip with this non-profit group, which I actually found on Instagram! The founder is an artist, and her organization mentors homeless and underprivileged kids in Hawaii. They provide after school tutoring and mentoring and weekend surfing/ocean sports. The woman who started this organization gives her life to these kids, and I loved seeing how much these kids love her and how much good she does. What Ocean Lotus Hawaii is trying to do is raise the chain of homelessness, so that these children don’t necessarily follow in the footsteps of their parents.
