The next day:

Stick to super-healthy grub. I'm talking green juices, salads, smoothies, and as many fresh veggies as you can stomach. I also like to sneak in a workout and move my body as much as I can. There's something about having a really healthy day that makes me feel like I'm instantly back on track with my usual healthy-eating ways.   

...had five-too-many cocktails. 

The next day:

Drink water like it's your job and try to hit a hot yoga class or another workout that makes you sweat out all of those toxins. Overdoing it on the booze is so dehydrating, so it's really crucial to replenish that moisture loss in your skin. I like to put warm compresses on my face-and if you're looking a little puffy, cold compresses are best.

  ... are seriously stressed out.

Try... Meditating. I've been committed to my practice for a few months now and I'm really feeling the benefits. Here's my tip: Do it at night before bed instead of in the morning. I find it's actually easier to carve out the time in the evenings, even though the typical advice is to do it first thing.

..are traveling like crazy.

It's my secret weapon on flights. Since it's in a stick, you don't have to worry about spreading germs all over your face. I used it on an overnight flight to Vienna this year, dabbing a bit on my lips and around my eyes and nose, and when I got off the plane my friend's girlfriend was like, "How does her skin look like that?!" The stuff really is magic.

...are hitting the slopes.

Wear your SPF. If this #tbt photo of me on a ski slope back in the day isn't warning enough about the importance of sunscreen even in the winter, I don't know what is! I use Skinceuticals 50 Sport when I exercise outside, and it's what I recommend to all of my clients doing any kind of outdoor sports. It's amazing- just remember that you have to reapply it in order to stay protected.
