You'll be no good for everyone around you if you don't put yourself first every so often. Here are a couple ideas that'll help you carve out more "me-time."

 Express Yourself:

Whether it's through art, writing, dancing or even just voicing your opinion, self-expression makes you feel great from the inside out. For me, I'm trying to draw and paint more-and I'm realizing that I don't have to go on some retreat in order to carve out time to work on my art. I just have to make a commitment to doing a little bit every day.

Breathe More Deeply: When's the last time you took a deep, cleansing breath? (Odds are you just took a big inhale because you hadn't taken one in so long-am I right?) Making a conscious effort to breathe more deeply can help you slow down and be better able to realize what you need in each moment, whether it's a yoga class, a walk, a bath, or a new pair of shoes.
